That will fizzle out before it reaches here. Those clumps of showers south of it probably gonna reach here.

I love how even after the main front has passed, Buxton still manages to get a heavy snow shower

They should have their own bloody thread discussing when is it ever going to rain!

I do find it fascinating how Buxton gets snow. I know it has a high altitude but there is a part of east Cheshire running across to Buxton and it rarely fails to get snow if there is any about. I am in a favoured location looking out on an inch of snow but I’m tempted to move over the hill to Buxton anyway!

Waiting 9 years for another proper winter generally makes one sulky

I’d consider moving then.

It must be a great place to live.  Guaranteed regular dumpings of snow every winter. Reasonable summer weather I assume. Plenty of shops/amenities and even a Wetherspoons. What's not to like!?

Love the way all showers are pink indicating snow but as soon as they near Merseyside they turn the dreaded blue colour.

Yes my only issue is I’m a gardener specialising in wildlife garden design and I need to have enough to work to survive else I’d be there!
