I reckon these were part of the fragmenting back end of the front so not concerned about that at the moment.

yes, no energy in them at all..

If that metoffice spokesman is right then we will need to be seeing the irish sea exploding into life this evening..

While in Widnes this afternoon at around 3:40pm a really heavy sleet shower.  That was it, currently dry.

Yes its freezing here now, the droplets of water on the washing line have frozen solid..

Who knows? It will crud where I am even with a direct hit as I will be in a rain shadow. Hope it delivers for others in the region though.
