Talk about overdoing the forecast I had more snow last week for about half hour but a least it stuck

 As far as I can see 850s are still around -6; we don’t get the coldest -8s until around 10 pm. Also the flow slackens off steadily during the evening and we have to give a chance for DPs to fall after the front; so still looks really promising to me. If nothing has happened by 3 am then I will get disheartened but I think it’s too early to worry yet personaly.

Met office earlier had me down for fog at 5pm that’s now disappeared lol

Have not got any slush either lol but then again if it’s turns icy it’s dangerous

I'd definitely keep your eyes peeled from c. 5pm onwards, with occlusion incoming from the North West. Will pep up any shower activity you see this afternoon.

Cloud now clearing exposing blue sky, temp has risen again to 4.5 degrees. Looks like it will drop very cold tonight but not confident on any major showers coming in to this area.
