Turning from sleet to snow now finally

Heavy snow now, should squeeze an hour or so out of it followed by a dry spell followed by some decent snow showers which hopefully leave at least a covering by tomorrow.

Heavy now in Macc and settling.

Currently at the huge Asda near Man City ground and it's very much rain here. Think the altitude is about 60m. Missus says it's snowing at home and starting to settle.

Rain stopped and skies brightening.

Looked like it was going to turn to snow but gave up and went back to rain. How can we be doing worse than both the west cost and inland? Surely its got to be one or the other?

Worst type of snow here, very heavy but those small flakes that don't really settle especially with the ground being so wet. Here's hoping the showers tonight deliver something a bit more exciting.
