Yay!

Some bright echoes with this one. Shame it isn’t due to last longer.

Should be here within 15 mins or so

Mmm this feature isn't doing much at all just light snizzle, can barely see it - there is little oomph in it. Ironically the cold dry air isn't probably helping could do with a bit more moisture to help pep things up.

Alas, third day in six with snow falling (Friday - a slushy fest but did leave a cover, yesterday a very dissapointing skittering overnight, and today a bit of light snizzle..) - still waiting for the real deal this winter.

Just as I was typing, the precipitation has pepped up a bit, and we are now starting to see a slight cover - its quite a slow moving feature, so if we maintain this intensity and preferably a bit more - we might squeeze out a cm, to awake to a white scene. However, it will quickly melt through the morning - its then a case of fast forwarding to Saturday for next snow prospects, indeed the outlook looks full of possible snow events, all will come down to nowcasting.

Omg it’s just started snowing. Little bit of sleet mixed in but not much and it’s getting heavier. 0.1°C. I think there is a slight warm inversion above the surface.

Love how this ppn wasn’t forecast until today.
