Just our luck! Right in line for the gap!

Yes...the fun of showers...hit and miss....This line of wintry showers to our south has been our 'miss' but maybe the peak districts gain.  Let's hope we are in the direct path for the next line.

Edit: I might just scrape something on it's northern flank.

I dont think we will see much more until mid afternoon- that will be our shot as the winds turn more NW by tea time pulling those to the west and south west into the game..

Leeds/Bradford about to get hit to the north , and the peaks about to get hit to the south..

Light covering above 400ft in marginal East Cheshire, but hills white over. Looks like that first batch of showers tanking through between Macc and South Manchester

Just catching the Northern edge of the streamer here. Snow coming down nicely.

UKV seems to have backed off on the latest update. I want my heavy snow symbols back!

EURO4 still showing accumulations but less so than 12z yesterday.

Will have to wait and see but less confident than I was yesterday.

Right now here in low lying Withington it’s a sleety mix.

Hand on heart Joe i dont think you have enough altitude.. i'm not convinced i have TBH..

we'll see, i'm off to bed shortly - i'm 50/50 whether it will be plain old wet concrete when i wake up..

Heavy snow now. Some decent showers moving in from the coast behind this lot as well.

Definitely will be the luck of the draw today weather you're under the sweet spot in the heavier showers.  If you just catch the fringes it's only light sleet at best.

Nope does appear to be a pepping up.  Good signs going forward hopefully.

Anyone living Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire likely to miss out today on any snow but good news, Carol Kirkwood on BBC just stated showers banding together tonight over these areas so don't be surprised to wake up to a covering in the morning.

Other areas should fair better during the day today.

Good luck
