Sleet here but it’s going to snow, I can tell after 35 years of lamppost viewing you know the signs.

Well it’s turned to sleet on the back edge. Temp down to 1.7°C

Snowing heavily and settling, Jesus that was a long time coming!

Lamp post watching at its best, trying desperately not to wake the Mrs up, she will think I am mad.

Lets hope its a start of things to come.

South east wales here had heavy rain earlier now dry and temperature at 3.4 c -pressure is 1001 hpa not sure about dew point or WB .

Can anyone in the Merseyside area, more especially Liverpool, keep me posted on the potential for snow, for the next few hours? 

Working nights at Sainsburys and the shutters are down all around, not a window in sight. Like a prison here. Hoping to walk out at 7am to an ankle deep offering

I am work in Shaw atm and it turned from rain to snow already at the low levels with a dusting on the grass etc . Up where I live at 297m it would be pure snow and I can see from down here that it is white up there. Never mind waiting till later in the morning. Need that ppn now!

Im in chadd at work and its sleet here...

Home in lees will probably be on the turn..

Up moorside it will already be 'white'.

Heavy hail with a bit f sleet mixed in (shower )here on the wirral. Wouldnt like that hitting ears dont half hurt that
