Met app has upgraded for my location tomorrow, kind of liking the lunchtime forecast when that trough comes through.

Need that snow day for my 2/10 shift

Just what I describe as thick rain here, atm,  basically rain with a touch of sleetiness...was 3 deg C on the car at 22:00 ...hoping for something better off the back edge or the showers following on behind...

Spell checker overcooked sleetiness into sleepiness!

Temp here has nose dived over a degree in 10 mins after the cold front moved through. Down to 2.7C here.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if the updated text forecast in a few hours time mentions some accumulations tomorrow evening in the S of the region.

Also, places like the Staffordshire Moorlands could have a few inches by tomorrow night IMO.

There's actually a little low pressure/trough working down the Irish Sea area tomorrow evening, which is presumably what the UKV is picking up on for southern parts of the region.

Can see it on these graphics too
