It depends where in Uppermill, it basically straddles a valley.

Oh aye I know lol. Eastern parts where that newish estate is, get up to 250m looking at Ordnance Survey maps

Hola from gran canaria.

The euro 4 is looking amazing for tomorrow afternoon and evening for much of the region, especially further inland.

I can't believe I have endured the most boring winter weather in years through December and much of January and I am away when the juicy stuff comes in!

Regardless of that, enjoy tomorrow and make sure you post pics especially from Manchester for my enjoyment. ☺

Will do.

Typical, you distance yourself from Blighty by around 1800 miles and mother nature takes the pee by giving you snow chances.

The estates in Uppermill not as new as you think you know!  #1960s but yes pretty high up.. Uppermill in a very steep sided valley..

Always hard to envisage any snow after a spell of heavy rain which certainly applies now.  Roll on the clearance & colder air tomorrow

Yeah Wellmeadow one of a number of estates built around the 1960s in the Yorkshire village ..I'm near High Street.

I haven't bothered to look out the window yet or step outside as I know nothing special is happening .. yet. Could be after the dead of night before anything half exciting does happen but we'll see..

Front edge sleet. Bodes well for the back of the band!

Interesting that the rain isn't even heavy here. I reckon it'll pick up shortly but I've certainly seen more intense cold fronts sweeping in.

Haha that’s why I said newish, compared to the 1800s properties in the centre anyway

Well I’m probably only about half a kilometre from you and I’m currently reading 3.7°C and it’s raining. We won’t get anything until the early hours most likely so I’m going to have an early night

Yes without a doubt ... that's if there are any showers around then too.
I'm verging to us not seeing anything of note until after 7-9am tomorrow.. but you never know. We may catch a heavy shower or two around dawn (6am)

Dry here too

Yup, mountains must be hungry tonight. Quite a contract to Friday when the mountains did absolutely nothing about the rain coming in from the SW
