I don't bother with it ,if a qualfied  weatherman gets barrated to the point where  he  leaves for telling how it is what's the point bothering with it

That's always annoyed me. We have had several top people dissappear from that thread because of super childish people. Ah well. Bring on the snow next week... Oh wait, it's an outlier. Ignore. Bin. Next model.

Am I doing it right?

Thought he left because he couldn't post due to his job?

Thought you were on about Ian F to be honest, definitely remember him posting here. Assumed it was some jumped up BBC social media policy that got him to leave, as he was always capable of rising above the more characterful posters.

Anyway still some light snow blowing about but not a chance of it settling as yet.

Light sleety snow on and off still, pity it is so light - otherwise we would have a decent cover by now, alas we have done very well to maintain the sleety snowy mix given how light it is. Had we seen a heavier pulse of snow, then a few cms could have been deposited thanks to evaporative cooling.

Not a proper covering by any stretch, only sticking to grass and the car but it's come earlier than anticipated & must bode well for in the days and weeks ahead.

A lovely Friday evening having a glass of vino, nice and snug inside watching the snow under the lamppost opposite.
