Got some massive flakes here now all of a sudden.

Gone to sleet now

Looked like it was going to accumulate at one point but lost intensity. Still all snow even in the light patches, which is very encouraging for Tuesday as to me, that looks more favourable than today.

Very wet tiny snowflakes now but expect it to pick up again. Down to 1.0°C now so still don’t think it will turn to rain.

First few flakes starting here in Horwich. 190m asl so altitude will help a little

Looks like it's all over in Formby with the snow moving inland eastwards. Enjoy the first taster of bigger things to come (according to the models)

Bitter walking to shops in Glossop...2c in town still ice and snow patches in shaded areas...sun made an appearance briefly earlier...winds picked up a bit...
