Keeps alternating between light small flakes and heavy big flakes. Dark Sky app thinks it’s been raining but just changed to heavy snow for next hour. 1.6°C, still falling.

Nah it's wasted in the wirral, will never stick around or add up to much.

 

It would be much better off if it skipped over Liverpool , the west coast and the wirral and deposited it's snow on the east side of the region

Im just east of Penrith so looking good according to the radar , at 600 feet so hoping that’s high enough.

Much smaller flakes now, too wet for sticking. Rain soon I think but fantastic surprise this morn. Hopefully the next few weeks will only get better, we certainly look on the cusp of some very cold/snowy weather.
