Well its a start

Brill ..

Will no doubt be better for you with the altitude!! I was working in Oldham Town Centre in winter 2014/15 could be bloody tricky up there, and was just raining here in Worsley.

More chance of pillock  corbyn winning a general election than snow here

Pillock? Someone who actually cares for the people?

Anyways... interesting update with the warning popping up. Must be more intense than they first thought.

Haha-

I like Jeremy- i think he is honest, some may not like his politics- but for me at least he is honest.

Anyway, fingers crossed for a decent spell of winter weather , its long overdue!

This is just the start what could be a really interesting period. Chance of a conducive north-westerly even mid next week after the slightly marginal front. Today has taught us that DPs are vital though and next week they are conducive all the way through.

Happy days! Always used to check your posts here as I used to live in aigburth! I’ll be missing out of the fun now this year!!! Enjoy it!

Haha! We’re actually forecast rain today.

Uppers conductive to snow, dew points widely below freezing and PPN clearly with lots of energy not being swallowed by the mountains. Looks like it has stalled. This could be a fun day.

Exactly, we have been screaming out for a decent politician, one who isn't bunged my millionaires and then when one does, lots fall for the billionaire media view point on him. Shame really.

Yeah, the overall pattern is flippin' exciting, the only thing that worries me is the slight easterly movement of each run of the initial disruption. As each shift east gives us less and less room for error. Am hoping a correcting westwards if possible tonight from the 12z runs to ease my slight concern.

Really getting its act together now coming down nice and heavy. No sign of settling yet though.  Endothermic evaporative  and melt cooling is starting to drop the temperature again now.

Liverpool metar reporting heavy snow.

Rather large flakes to say the least. Barely sticking but lovely to see.

100% snow here in Liverpool, lovely surprise. If its snow here, should be snow for everyone else too.
