Get well soon mate. Hope the weather allows you to get to your appointment.

Would be ironic if the white stuff we all wish for makes it difficult when your health is at stake.

Will be at the Band room on Derby street tomorrow evening for the CONNECT xmas party. Could we get power cuts if the ice is bad enough?

To be honest everything but the kitchen sink tomorrow including thunder freezing rain/sleet/snow.... or could all be rain... not sure exactly what to expect... am at City game early kick off then picking up a few friends in guide bridge and going on a Christmas pub crawl (dinner somewhere not booked) around Glossop... I think if we got ice from freezing rain everything may well come to a standstill but might be included in Manchester’s notorious se-wind backed rain shadow....

if we did get freezing rain from 10-15mm of rain I’d expect like in the USA/Canada branches/power lines etc down, roads shut, trains cancelled etc... maybe if we’re lucky the water will stay on unlike twice this week already ❄️?

I expect a few matches could get called off a short notice tomorrow.

You'll need thawing out after the matxh

That’s a working day for me but when severe weather decides to come at weekend then i’ll Leave it for others to admire, at least until a more reasonable hour.

I should imagine those 400Kv lines coming down could cause a blackout of biblical proportions.

It will be even more if high peak borough council and Tories have their way...the infrastructure that is... weather wise... I’m getting my skates by the door for tomorrow’s pub crawl hehe

Haha we’ll probably be dry like Manchester, unusually, but usually due to se wind... look at arpege, hirlam etc.... our area looks like we could get nothing/ everything.... love the weather....
