A bit of afternoon sun between deluges made this one of the better days of the week but after the vile crap of the last 6 or 7 days, the bar wasn’t set that high.

Its stayed dry all day here but to expected on  the costa de Cumbria

House is out at sea tonight. Constant winds over the fields from the Irish Sea. Rest of the country must wonder what all the fuss is about.

I really hope it improves as this month is already becoming zonal hell.

Thought there might have been some warnings out for through the night its been very gusty raining and hailstoning all night and still bad now

Quite a gusty old night! 

Will have to check the slates later as I could hear them clacking as the wind got under them... Hopefully all OK but knowing my luck at the moment....

Wind blew a few fence panels out last night and some branches strewn across the lane. And it turned into another horrid day with heavy persistent rain, thankfully tomorrow looking better.
