If only all the rain that has fallen overnight and into today was snow. Not a fan of this cold rain malarkey.

Me neither, but one thing today shows is how the precip can hit us from an easterly..a few degrees colder and it would have been bingo!

Lets hope for more easterlies next month.

I was saying the same to my neighbour. This could have been an event to remember if we had tapped into some proper cold air.  Certainly been a very wet day.

Edit: Im now going on the school run on foot. Wish me luck, its bl**dy awful out.

Cold wet rain day...surprised at how the rain as pepped up coming over the pens usually it's like a brick wall....easterly wind has been quite strong though, hope we get a similar situation when there's a chance of snow in the air.

Agree mate, crazy how we had that dumping of snow in March with the much longer days yet here we are near December and all we get is cold rain. Just need the continent to get cold then it's game on.

Just been to the Christmas Market in Manchester. It was cold, damp and windy while I'm over there. No rain though, probably because of rain-shadow effect.

The food was very good and tasty! :santa-emoji:

We didn't actually get a lot of precipitation this far west. Was light rain on and off. Therefore I'm glad it wasn't cold enough to fall as snow!

Gobsmacked to see snow falling 10 minutes ago albeit extremely wet, strange to see the ppn reach here and maintain its intensity given how its came from the east.

Any chance of finding sanity in here? Model thread clutching at straws that don't exist to taunt me?

Going to get milder really, that's about it?

Sorry but the best on offer is another 4 months of members trying to pick out the model with even the slightest indication of something white and selling it like the next 1963 is on its way.

its winter but the only sure thing is that the dark nights are longer, the light days shorter and the rain is just as wet but colder.

We’ll just have to grin and bare it.

Thoughts of this month: Boring. No snow and No storms.

On the bright side I am going to Tenerife over Christmas. At least I'm looking forward to the hot and sunny weather!! :santa-emoji:
