 Minimum was -1.3°C last night before the rain came. There was an inversion at 950 mb.

Good clear visibility around the Peaks today so I took a quick drive to to Pym Chair near Shining Tor and could see all the way westwards across the Cheshire plain to Snowdonia, and northwards to Lancs.

I don't think its windy enough. I like the severe gales or storm force winds.  Lets see how November bring. Hopefully a stormy one or a snowy one! :)
