Oh hope your bout of something  dodgy has sodded off

Cool this morning with clear blue skies

It’s on its way now thanks but a nasty little sod while it lasted.

I wondered if there was something go around as my bad chest has returned.  The weather doesn't help: cold, cloudy and windy with recent very light drizzle.

There should have been a warning in our house over the weekend although I felt like crying at times for the wrong reasons. It’s a long while since I felt so much stomach pain but on the mend again now.

meanwhile back to the weather, today’s wind has stripped most of the leaves up here along with a sizeable chunk of the roofing felt off our summer house so that’s another job to add to the increasing list.

at least this weekends colder spell should mean that my last grass cut of the season has already happened, unlike last year when for the first time ever, I cut it in November.

Thanks mate, feeling a lot better now.

I must have felt crap, not a drop of alcohol throughout the weekend although after the ale trail the weekend before and with a couple of days in Liverpool coming up maybe a rest from it was a blessing.

It’s going a lovely colour of black far too early now.

light evenings, great while they lasted but a long dark slog is on its way now.

Would be nice to see some sun... been very dull the last couple of days and certainly accentuates the darkness we have setting in. Looks fresh but much brighter by weekend.

Quite happy that most of the 'cold' rain showers have stayed away from my locality today.  Apart from some rain early this morning as the cold front pushed through, it's been cold and sunny since then.  Could be nippy tonight.  Naturally as we advance further into winter and these would be snow showers I'd be very miffed at missing them...but not today.

What a great afternoon sitting inside watching immense sleety hail lash down over us. Quite a pleasant surprise

Just let the dogs out and there was a flurry of something and it wasn’t rain. Showing snow on the radar

Snowing lightly here and settling on the decking so it must be due on your side of the valley.

I don’t keep records but it’s the earliest first snow I can remember for quite a few years and after yesterday’s sunshine certainly a surprise.

Just typical though as I wanted a bit of dry and warmth to sort my shed roof out but it still needs going.

Cloud started to roll over this location after a clear and frosty night and we have light snow flakes / graupel at the moment. Nice to get some October Snow hey ?

Now then, lets get back to warm and dry weather please mother nature :)

Light snow here too not long ago but not settling. But it's October and can say it snowed!
