No way it'll feel like summer now. Similar light levels to March 21st. Will be a nice autumnal spell though

I can deal with earlier sunsets, sunshine and temps in the high teens/low twenties will do me! :)

Woke at 2.30am and genuinely expected to be in Oz by morning! ‘Twas very blustery here on the coast!

Following a monumentally vile day today is little improvement.  Cold, windy and showery.  Fitting for the first day of astronomical autumn.   According to Netweather Sunday looks to be an early taste of what could be a long winter with a mere 8C at best.

Oh happy days

I have just got back from school run and honestly was like walking through waterfall! within 5 mins I had to turn back to change clothes as I was dripping wet. got to school and it started again and now back dried off and its lashing again with thunder and lightning.

Some very beefy showers feeding through to the Peak District. Nasty one looks to be just approaching Manchester and then over to me. No lightning as yet but that might change.
