There’s a familiar looking thing up in the sky this morning - the cloud! ☁️

But fairly warm with the temperature nearing 18*C.

Another nice day here. This last week and a half since the "breakdown" has been much better than the end of May/start of June.

There's the possibility of the maximum possible sunshine being recorded today at this site ( about 15.1 hrs ) with just an isolated small Cu floating by from time to time. If I lived a few hundred yards away on the opposite side of the village it would be about an hour more but the sun 'sets' behind the moor to the west/ north west here at 2021 b.s.t.

Next week is indeed starting to look very interesting, especially midweek and beyond.

Although I tend to wilt somewhat in hot conditions, I do prefer my seasons to be extremes overall i.e. cold & snowy winters vs hot and thundery summers. 2018 is putting a lot of ticks in a lot of boxes so far!

We had cloud and thunder and rubbish in May and early June. I just want wall to wall sunshine for the next 2 weeks. Today was perfect

The MetOffice has my location (Wolverhampton), only up to the dizzy heights of 18C tomorrow, possibly due to the cloud from the Irish sea again, plus next week only pushing 26C, so hardly sweltering temps from their forecast, just being a little cautious i presume.

bitter north wind here though, especially early on, felt more like autumn, mokidugway had frost on the car, in winter this setup would produce severe frosts and minus 10 or so windchill

tonight also looks very chilly with a northerly wind

Still pretty nice today, hazy sunshine and 20oC, much better than the "best end of may ever".

Listened to people whine all winter about cold and snow. Now listening to people whine about the ‘heat’ (it’s not even that hot). Eugh!

Looks cracking, anyway.

29°C here a short while ago, not a bad effort considering this week is actually supposed to get gradually warmer as it progresses!

I suspect many of us Midlanders will be recording highs of 30°C and above over the next few days.

Dare I say the low humidity feels odd as recent years we seem to get the blowtorch setup with hazy skies and the humid feel.

It did feel chilly this morning too. Perfect evening though.

Can’t believe how close we got to 30*C yesterday. The MonkspathWeather site showing us being just 0.4*C away from that 30 mark!

Didn’t think temperatures would get any higher than 27/28*C, but I suspect that magic 30*C will likely be smashed today.

Sunny with heaps of blue sky at the moment and a temperature of 21*C already.

Hi guys, I’m loving it even though I’m a cold/snow nutter this is just great weather, prefect wall to wall sunshine and in the Hi 20s and low humidity, I just might have to go to the pub to celebrate :D
