Just had about half hour of on/off heavy snow in leicester, took a drive up some of the hills and it had settled but as soon as it stopped it melted 😞 nice to see though

A few flurries so far and looking good on the radar....caught a Snowbow earlier but hoping for some elusive `thundersnow`....as the day goes on

Keeps drifting from sleet with a few flakes then back to cold rain and sleet again, just the perfect definition of a wintry shower.

Looks like a steamer of sorts setting up. Just in time for rush hour and the place to grind to a halt. Roads are already slow and there's no snow on them!

Just turned to wet snow, not exceptionally heavy but can be classed as snow.

Super massive heavy flakes now and coming down hard. Wasn't really expecting this today to be honest, what a great surprise.
