A very good day today. Max 23.0 °C and after a slightly cool start there was lots and lots of sunshine. A few wisps of high cloud around now, but really nothing more than that. The week ahead looks very good, too -- I doubt I'll record my first 25 °C of the year, but most days should make it into the low 20s with a decent amount of sun, and that will do me! If I'm going to be stuck near home for many months yet, having good garden/local walking conditions makes a considerable difference.

Got very lucky today. Cloud line has been parked about 5 miles to my Northwest all day so it's been another day of near unbroken sunshine. 22C.

Not at all bad here today. By no means blue skies all the way, but the cloud was high and had plenty of breaks so we probably still had 6-8 hours of sunshine (not that I was up at sunrise!). Max today 22.6 °C, and it felt very pleasant indeed.

The garden plants are just starting to show signs of serious thirst, though. If this spell goes on more than perhaps another 10 days then things could begin to be worrying for the more sensitive ones. The wet winter's influence only goes so far.

Same here, in fact it was warmer here today than yesterday even with partial cloud cover, very pleasant indeed’y

Not related to this page, but just looked at the front page of this site and the current conditions in the City of London it's sunny, 17C - but with a 61 mph northerly wind!, oh and  it's sunny here in north Wolverhampton and 14.2C.

Well, today was dry and warm with a fair amount of sunshine and light winds. (I could just copy/paste this at the moment!) Max 23.2 °C, which made it very comfortable. I much prefer this to 30 °C and humidity in August heatwaves.

Just an update regarding this forthcoming weeks glorious weather that we’ll be having....I mentioned last Tuesday that this week would be good, but it’s even above my expectations, after tomorrow temperatures will be mid 20’s all week with deep blue skies....prestained glass window

To MIA....looking good for my May CET guess at 12.7c

Looks like a cracking guess to me!

Should keep you in control...

Chatting to my neighbours over the road (during the clap) they are certain it is the lockdown causing this fantastic weather.     Did you take it into account as well?

Now that would be telling  no planes making deep blue skies, can’t be bad

Yet another glorious day here on the Worcestershire Riviera. 24 °C, blue skies, a refreshing breeze and just basically excellent. Can we maybe keep the days like this and have any needed rain overnight only, please?

Lovely morning in Walsall. Went out for a walk at 7am down to the lake and then across to the canal. Just started to get warmer as I was on my way back. Have a good day everyone, don't burn

25c today lovely... nice week minus the actual wind which has been up-to 45 mph gusts... 22-26c most of this week... having been in isolation for over 3 months gardening... has been a nice release and the sunny weather has been a God send for getting out digging and landscaping... hope all are well and safe...

Another very solid day to end May. A max of 25.4 °C, but the combination of more cloud than forecast and a noticeable breeze meant it didn't feel quite that warm, though it was still very pleasant. Just a couple more days of this before things change. I just hope we're not in for a washout summer as payback!
