Well, the rain turned to snow for a brief time about an hour ago in a heavier burst. It has turned back to rain now though as the intensity has died down. What a let down

Thats your 50/50 you had snow & rain

you are about 20 -30 miles from heavy band & the band of snow is a further 30-40 miles in depth >75M ideally

Flakes are finally getting bigger but seems to melt as quick as it settles

Another covering of snow here this morning, though not quite as much as yesterday judging  by a quick look out of the window. Perhaps 3-4 cm

The annoying thing is, it's around 1c out there yet it's raining. That's how close we are to seeing snow! I think that's what makes it worse

Another covering of snow but slightly more to yesterday so 1 inch trees are covered, most snow since mid december.

Do you take lodgers over the winter we could all come to your house for our snow fix .

Seriously that a good business plan

. Well at least it seems the majority missed out on any Snow, not just us Stokies.

Oh well onto next Winters snow shield around my house lol.

As Matt says, Stoke really is a strange place, yeah we may get the odd cm, but we are always either too far North or too far Stoke for any major Snow events.

Well, not a flake in Solihull! Starting to feel like everyone else in the country has had some snow this winter except us...

Definitely one of the worst Winter’s I’ve known for snow. Was hoping there would at least been some falling snow, but the Solihull snow shield was too strong even for that. (Sleet at best at one point).

Perhaps March might throw out a surprise for those of us wanting the white stuff. But even then, wouldn’t mind some warmer, drier, weather too.
