I give up and suddenly a line of heavy snow showers sets up over me. Coming down a fair bit at the moment. Not settling though, despite an air temperature of just 1’C.

It's clear here with a frost developing. Got to be a good thing if we do catch any showers later. Not getting my hopes up though.

Classic British snow event. Snow showers all night and not a single flake has settled, despite the temperature being barely above freezing. Absolute rubbish.

Surprised theres not more comments on here!!gfs direct hit for the midlands again!!ecm has the low slightly further north compared to what it was showing a few days ago!!

Looks very marginal though. Even places like here, with a bit of elevation, may just see sleet or a sloppy mess.

As you can see Iv woke up to a right dumping. Might not be able to go to work

Still very mixed picture     Icon  drops it more south  to just below Brum Area    Arome  is  just above Brum   Hirlam  goes further North.    Could be anywhere   Radar watching i suppose.  Would be nice to see a couple of cm or so

Placed under a yellow warning for THAT! Is it any wonder we are the subject of mockery from people who live in countries which get genuinely big snow amounts?

GFS looks too far north, meto warnings just seem to be south of B'ham,
