Cheshire Gap showers look to be developing again. Although they look quite small and light at the moment.

I hope so

I’ve just gone for a drive currently at beacon hill and this is the only spot it’s settled currently

Ahhh! Good old Beacon Hill, classic place  I bet there is a bit of snow up Bradgate Park as well.

Any news on icon 18z for thursdays snowfall!!got a horrible feeling everything gona be shunted south!!

Corrected a tad south also seems some warm sectors mixed in. Only a high ground event looks to me. Tomoz morning we should know the tack better. But yh not looking good for lowland snow. At least we had a few snow showers today.

Had a five-minute sleet shower here at around 3:30pm, but that was about it. Not really the most interesting of days weather-wise! At least we did get some sun and the winds were lighter, meaning despite the lower temperatures (max 7.7 °C) it actually felt more pleasant than yesterday a lot of the time.

(Not paying as much attention as usual anyway, as some of the flood barriers are now being overtopped. Worse than last week.)

Off topic from the snow there was some stunning mammatus clouds earlier near crick, Northamptonshire. Pics aren't edited at all. It looked even better in person.

Good frost we want tonight snow won`t stick to saturated fields which they are at the moment in places, low flat ground have pools of water.

Got a covering of sorts here, but december so far was the driest snow this winter.

What are they saying? That the mild sector will be too far north?

As yet another shower weakens rapidly on approach, I think it’s time for bed Great letdown tonight

Looking at the radar, the bands are to both the north and south of the gap with nothing in between
