Colder air worked its way down now   coming done quite swiftly  although not sticking  and the radar does not look promising for much longer.  However this winter as not been a total bust  thankfully

Really quite nasty now. Road not gritted and traffic is crawling. Not much more to come and it will probably melt quickly.

No sympathy what’s so ever, grrrrr!!!

Good and surprising event, off a direct westerly airstream, similar to events of 13 dec 2017, 5 jan 98, and reminds me more of 11th feb 2014, first snow of that season

Easing off here now    however quite a bit of activity in wales and the Irish sea    so maybe something later    If the Welsh hills dont get in the way

Not a bad few hours, think we have about 3-5CM from that. Gridlock across Stoke as normal, everyone panicking and leaving work early. If they'd watch the radar they'd know it is best to wait.

It seems to have suddenly almost stopped. Hopefully more to come though. But as you say at least we've seen some snow now at least this Winter.
