Heavy wet snow here, t+1.2C/td+0.5C

Its all snow, despite conditions far more marginal than that system in late Jan that just gave sleet and rain. Only a bit of slushy accumulation on favoured surfaces e.g. cars, but the temp is still falling

Temperature has gone down to 0.2C now and td to -0.5C, still snowing but smaller flakes, real good bit of evap cooling there. Precip area nearly passed us now but maybe some showers on the N/NW flow behind?

rain here with bits of sleet  mixed in another pointless yellow snow warning from the Met office for here

Heavy snow here now, huge flakes settling on cars and grass quickly.Plenty more to come as well looking at the radar.

Snowing in Belper with a light covering on the ground.

Looking pretty bad up in the Peak District on the webcams.

Clearing here. A patchy dusting of slush but most surfaces just wet. Nearby areas look to have seen considerably more snow as usual.

Right on the cusp of sleet here in Derby city centre. Heavy snow one moment, sleety mess the next. Most wintry scene all 'winter' though so ill take it

6.5 cm of snow here earlier this morning, more than at any time in February. Still more than 90% cover but it's thawing steadily in the sunshine.

Currently 2.4 °C and heavy sleet in a strong W wind. Really very unpleasant conditions. :cold:

Edit: now down to 1.7 °C and snowing! Huge flakes. Judging by the radar it won't last, but this is still about the best snow I've seen all winter!

Similar sort of shower recently passed through here with a mixture of rain, graupel and sleet (a few actual snowflakes mixed in too). Was very squally with some strong gusts of wind.

More in the way of wet snow in the recent wintry shower that’s been rolling through. So certainly heading in the right direction!

No doubt those of you on the peaks will fair the best.
