Ah...the winter of 2019 will go down in the annals of history as the one that seemed to promise so much but delivered so little. One to forget and cannot wait now for spring.

Perhaps only in your back garden!!!

Pennines are killing those showers making their way this far, they're just running out of energy and drying out.

So the wind has swung round enough so showers are missing us to our east now.

Why not...it might as well.

Mother Nature, you can put your two fingers down now...we get the message.

Glad the East mids are seeing snow now. But they won't make it past Birmingham. Birmingham is officially the most Snowless place this Winter.

Birmingham isn’t the most snowless place this Winter, there are other places which haven’t seen any snow as well, think your exaggerating it a bit. For example this season I have recorded 8 days of snowfall with 4 days accumulating snow.

Perhaps she’s the Solihull side of Birmingham. We’ve had 20 mins of sleet, 10 mins of snizzle and 10 mins of teeny flakes so far. No lying snow whatsoever.

Stop boasting!   Two and one here (leading to a 0.5cm cover).  And this has been a good winter!

Edit: obviously I am not in Brum, and Brum does normally get a lot more snow than down here.

Yes, and ongoing here 5 miles outside Basingstoke. Still snowing heavily - snow seems to be rotating around us and not moving! Last time I saw this much snow I was in an Austrian blizzard!

...and it's heavy snow, so main rail line London-Southampton is bloked just outside Baingstoke due to fallen trees brought down by the weight of snow. M3 blocked due to jacknifed lorries and all roads  gridlocked.

Think it is important to remember the Winter of 2013/14 when even in my location a relatively high area we saw no accumulating snow what so ever.  We are still a far cry from that.

Although latest GFS runs don’t hold much hope for further snowfall in my opinion latest model output is the worst so far this season.

Hey this thread is for the snowless poor suffering Midlanders. Nah its still good to see some areas have a good dumping. This year though has been very unlucky even now Show showers 20 miles to our East are just teasing us.

If only! I've only seen a couple of flakes before it changed to rain. Maybe Mansfield or Chesterfield has had snow but Nottingham hasn't

Nothing more depressing than getting updates from family in the south-east telling me how much snow they’ve got...meanwhile not a flake in Nottingham
