A few tiny teeny flakes floating in the breeze here, but, seriously fed up this morning with this whole debacle.

Grump grump bleepity grump.

nothing here at all. Disappointing. First call I took at work this morning is from a customer in Bristol who said they've had tonnes (and inevitably - he is a snow hater!)

Not even the slightest hint of snow here in Leicester. Absolutely pathetic and by one of the worst winters so far for snow in the East Midlands.

Nice covering here in Northants just 40 miles to your south and still snowing. Our third snowfall of the winter and certainly not one of the worst winters in the east midlands. Chin up it can and will get better.

When winds change more north east laters it should become more favourable for showers to hit us full on hopefully!!

Really do hope so!

A few very light flurries in Nottingham. Seems to be more showers coming in from the east on the radar so I'm hopeful of a light dusting. Showers could crop up anywhere the further east you are

It really is a pointless exercise now, as from Monday those milder south-west and westerlies will be back, and they will take some shifting again.

Well, nothing here beyond those few ultra-tiny flakes I mentioned at about 2am. Otherwise, it's completely dry. Extraordinary what a huge difference there is 50 miles down the M5!

So, a near-total failure for me this time, unless I get one of today's showers, which is possible of course, if a long shot.

But I have to reflect that in Dec 2017 it was the other way around with Bewdley right in the sweet spot and other places missing out entirely. That's the British weather for you, I guess. Good luck to anyone in the path of the showers today, of course.

Met Office regional forecast saying minimum temperatures of -7'C tonight! Should be another lovely air frost tomorrow morning. Going to head up to Park Hall Country Park and take pictures of their snow and the frost

It felt really cold last night - I had to decamp to the spare room as one of the kids ended up in our bed and it was baltic in there. But my weather station only recorded a low of 0° (I did have to replace the batteries in the outdoor module last night though so don't know if that sent it screwy)
