GFS sticking to its guns and going further north with the 00z compared to the 18z. See below the comparison between the two for +24.

There is freezing fog here and everywhere white with frost. Looks cold out there. Pity there is no snow for up here in the north.

Is it me or does the band look further north? Or is that how it was forecast and it'll just slide and pivot and go south?

Just hoping it stays at that trajectory that it's currently and doesn't start to pivot too early

It's further North and way ahead of schedule.

Is it a good thing that it's ahead of schedule?

Shouldn't make to much diffrence maybe just makes it slightly marginal for those near the coast. As MKN showed its also further North than Icon predicted for the same time. Check out the radar its currently in Ireland.

Further North is a good thing if correct. Met Office forecast looks very bland for South Birmingham now, just a 50% chance of light snow between 11pm and 4am. Huge downgrade vs.this time yesterday when it was showing 12 hours and a few hours of heavy snow with 80% probability.

I’d say if it’s further north and ahead of schedule at this time that’s a good thing, hopefully means more of the midlands will get in on the act and will probably be heavier and last longer, that’s my take on it anyway

Need it to continue heading in that direction and then pivot
