How is it a Friday event and not looking great? For some parts of midlands and wales it’s still looking pretty good and it’s thursday night which imo is better than during the day

Latest from the BBC. The northern edge of the snow shows just what a close run thing it is for up here.

Kind of weird how Arpege and Hirlam go south and GFS and EURO4 go north.

I’ve seen it, agreed it’s looking great for many parts of the Midlands & Wales.

Yes it’s like a tug of war....it it South or is it North and it’s only tomorrow not 3 to 4 days away.

I've seen differences in the output before but in 24hrs they are very slight , not complete opposites....As long as it goes our way who cares!

I think it’s pretty certain that the southern half of the Midlands will do well tomorrow. It’s north of Birmingham where there are big question marks.

Not sure but the general consensus on here and even by the Met Office themselves is that no one is really all that sure what the system is going to do. Seems very much a wait and see. South West Moors and Mid Wales both could do very well out this with West and South Midlands and down to the South East also seeing some snow.

Yes nailed for the South Midlands upto Birmingham inwich I’m south of Brum, but I do believe the North of our region will see snowfall but as you mentioned is a question mark, but in my eyes......it’s how much

I'm 30 miles south of Brum but at my altitude and being in the Vale, one of the driest places in the UK, whichever direction precipitation comes from, I am not expecting much.  However, radar will be my guide tomorrow.

Radar will be a guide to us all come tomorrow ... I’ll be on it from midday me.

I’m working in Coventry Tom, but I’ll back in Snowyhill at teatime ready and waiting:oldgrin:

I was looking forward to something before dinner. Now it's too far south again. Awww ☹️

Looks like late evening onwards for most. Cue people writing it off when it’s not snowing tomorrow morning

10pm bbc has light snow for me, until 10am, looks like 12 hours continuous light snow, but reality just a few flurries
