Radar and Met app. Met app added it about an hour ago. There are few showers brewing nothing major though

There were some starting to build to the SE of Brum, but they've all fizzled out again. We had quite a few cumulus clouds that started to build further for a time this afternoon and I wondered if something might happen. But they've all dissolved now as well and we're back to clear skies.

In terms of tomorrow I think we just now have to watch the radar and see how far north it goes. Most of the models have there own take. Not many had that front so far north yesterday so might be the same tomorrow. Hopefully we all get some.

Urban heating as the countryside is freezing...coldest day of the winter so far off a westerly 1.3c...great winters day with plenty of sun and very little thaw.

Snow risk 9pm Thursday GFS.

Why do you want the GFS to back down from giving us 12 hrs of long awaited SNOW

It's bitterly cold, but without the snow I don't like the cold. I am pinning my hopes that there could be a last minute shunt northwards putting me back in the game.

Hmmm, liking that.

Not sure how good it is in winter but in summer it is my go to model for pinning down storms as it is very good at shower situations.

Oh. That's a shocker. I better not call anything as we are a little marginal.

Exactly today I couldn't work because all my hoses and water system was frozen I use for work. Wouldn't defrost all day..

So if I can't work at least there be snow on the ground and I can walk the dog.
