Omg don't get me started, was driving back from work in cov and it seemed like everyone was going sooooo slow just because of a little bit of light snow falling that wasn't even settling. I got road rage

Same here, on way back from Cov half 5 ish.  Could not believe what I was seeing!

Loads of congestion on some roads as well.....for rain!

3-3 wasnt it Bluenose ?   Good result really.   I wont talk about Uniteds....

I shouldve been on here last week predicting snow for this coming weekend.  First time we've arranged to go out after xmas...   it was a banker to be dodgy weather.

Yeah not bad considering we was atrocious first 30 mins and then whole of second half with 10 men but to concede in last few seconds of injury time feels like a loss.

loads of snow Thursday will make up for it though

That's where they showed the significant snow would be. Any further north looks much less.

Knew these things never get far enough north and east, they always stall around Birmingham and then pivot and head SE

All models plus Hi res models are NOT showing what the UKMO is showing or even what's on the BBC graphics.

The only thing I did notice, there wasn't any time on that screenshot, if that was teatime that would be right ???

Lol it’s been a few hours of oh no it’s further south again then north what next? South coast or Scotland, it’s over 24 hours away so maybe a bit of time to relax before the next panic of where it will be.

not sure about a roller coaster this I wouldn’t no what to call it

They didn't give a time.

The ICON, GFS, GFSP, Aperge and Hirlam all have it further north, but I'd much rather the ECM and UKMO did. 99 times out of a hundred, the latter models are more accurate in this setup.

HI RES Models wiped the floor regarding the GFS, ECM and even the UKMO in these setups (last year Feb 18)

Latest GFSP now much further south too. Misses the North Midlands completely.

Just need the old GFS to come on board and then all 4 main models will be in agreement. Like poetry in motion.

Latest BEEB forecast - snow nowhere north of Birmingham (certainly not in measure). Maps keeping the system mostly south and west of Birmingham.

Sharp cut off point, some will be lucky where other's 5 miles down the road can smell it but not see it!

FWIW the ICON 18z, shows pretty much anywhere from Birmingham to Manchester getting 5-10CMs - but that's not going to happen.
