If that is a streamer forming over NE Wales, looks like it will drift a few miles to the north of my location, looking at it's current movement, hence the change in my local forecast, ice will be the main threat tonight.

I think we might miss out later in Stoke as the winds shift. Similar to Dec 2017 when the streamer was over Shropshire and WM

Winds are too westerly for that, and will stay that way into Wednesday.

The direction will change in the next few hours.....more and more to a NW

Getting better as the evening unfolds

I've got to say I'm a bit torn over whether I really want this streamer to affect me or not. We've got to move house tomorrow. Bearing in mind it's only a few doors up the road, so that makes it easier somewhat.

Height making all the difference here. Just rain with the odd sleety flake still at 90M. These streamers are so hit and miss, seen plenty of them fail and I will be very surprised if I see any lying snow tonight.

I do fancy early evening to produce for somewhere like Stoke and further South the regions just north and west of brum.

Similar to last December but with lower totals. It’s just not cold enough.

Heavy wet snow here now 104m asl, not as good as Friday though, cannot see it lying

so far more like an April cold shot, suppose expected for the large teapot

In line with the Euro4 predictions.

Here’s the latest predicted snow accumulations up to Wednesday morning from the Euro4 model. Fun has yet to start for the north and west of the region!

NW radar says snow for us now. Sorry radar, it's just rain.

Even my brother in Sutton, (south London/Surrey), has had snow today.

Calling it my rain. D'oh!
