Screenshot from the Met Office live video feed just now. Showing a lot of showers around here tonight, continuing into tomorrow morning rush hour.

Pushed through now, just made everything wet underfoot. Seems NW England will have all the fun out of this.

Yep. It’s really this evening where the fun begins for the north and west of the region. People already writing it off before it’s due to begin.

Though on the basis of runs, maps and stuff, East of the region May be a non-starter.

A mix of rain and snow falling in the past half hour. Sometimes all rain, sometimes all snow. Forecasts had been predicting sleet for today for quite some time now, so they're spot on so far.

Was analysing where the troughs were and this shows an indication of where they are. Behind the second trough follows a true NW air stream which should traverse the region around rush hour.

Someone in the northwest thread just said the winds are starting to move to a more NW flow, just as showers are pepping up behind, could make for an interesting rush hour in parts
