Does anyone know what the highest overnight minimum for september is?

I see Helene is bringing some high ivernight temperatures this week and in my location it may not drop below 18oC monday night so was wondering if it's even close to a record?

Thank you! Do you have a source for that information? I can never seem to find overnight low stats. It seems they are very rarely reported

Guess that's the same night the record minimum for the CET was set too, at 18.4C.

I would think that this is our low point for this month, up into the mid 15c's likely next week, night time temps looking balmy for a few days.

An interesting 2nd half of the month coming up, warming up for a few days then a colder snap followed by milder weather again at the very end of the month, a higher CET for the 2nd half looking very likely now unless we get the colder air dig in thats been showing up on some runs.

GFS has gone crazy latest run storm after storm after storm followed by cold air plummeting temps.

Over the years the GFS has provided us with some great entertainment.

The 06z gives us quite a cool spell next week, with the 4 days up to and including the 27th averaging just shy of 10C. The last time we had a 4 day spell averaging under 10C in September... 2012. And before that, we have to go back to 1993! I'm sure it will be gone by the 12z though!

I'll hopefully have time for a full update a little later on.

Not sure if BFTV will provide a more detailed forecast but looking at 12z GFS, I would say a downward drift to 14.4 by Tuesday 25th followed by a slight rebound with some 16-17 values, last day of month cooler again, so most likely finishing point in the 14.2 to 14.8 range, before corrections, and 14.0 to 14.7 after corrections.
