Fully overcast here with heavy driving rain since before dawn accompanied by strong gusty wind from the south west.   Sorry, no air temperature available, but noticeably cooler.

The BBC weather graphics really are confusing this morning Alina Jenkins showed the rainfall radar which clearly shows rain in south and East Anglia then the next graphic shows no rain in South and East Anglia.

They really need to sort out the graphics at Meteogroup they are confusing, the met office ones are much more reliable.

Much of the night was dry, with increasing cloud after clear spells during the evening. Rain arrived around 0300 g.m.t and became heavy at times. Windy with continuous moderate-heavy rain, and hill fog above 300 m, at the moment.

The temperature at 10 am is 17 °C and according to the Met office, there is a 90% chance of moderate rain fall.  The temperature feels like  14 °C.  The wind speed is 18 miles per hour with gusts of 31 miles per hour.  The wind is coming from a Southerly direction.  The visibility is very good and the humidity is at 82%.  The UV index is 2, the air pollution index is 2 and the pollen count is low.  The barometric pressure is 1006mb, and the pressure is falling.
