Davis weather station vantage pro 2 start up issue ?

Hello all really hoping somebody can help ,we’ve just got a second hand system set up but we cannot get it to connect to the console for love nor money I’ve changed the battery in the iss and reading through the instruction manual it says there should be a red light that flashes every 2.5 seconds (on the iss ) and I cannot find this light or any info on it online so can’t move forward with troubleshooting until I know this piece of info . It’s very frustrating has anyone got any tips please many thanks for reading

Have you tried enabling test mode? You do it by putting dip switch #4 to the up position. It's possible the transmitter is dead if no red light is flashing.

Thank you very much for your answer I’ve done the hard reset I can hear it working but it’s still not connected to the console and I still can’t see a red light I can see a green one but not red could you possibly tell me where the red light is please Many thanks
