Wednesday 18th July 2018:

 

Dry, variable cloud overnight. Bright spells so far this morning. Further bright spells through the morning, though a good deal; of cloud also with a few scattered light showers around, this station caught a brief light one around noon, this dried up rapidly. The afternoon saw the cloud break up allowing sunny spells for a time before cloud increased once more, though staying dry here, feeling very warm.

 

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday 22.5∞C.

Minimum temperature overnight 11.6∞C

All the showers missed this location yesterday evening. Turning clear overnight. Mainly sunny so far this morning, feeling a little fresher. Further sunny spells through the morning, though cloud increasing to overcast by early afternoon, staying dry here. The cloud began to break up again mid to late afternoon allowing further sunny spells.

Mostly sunny morning then cloud came over and has remained mostly cloudy since midday with just the odd sunny spells

After overnight showers, which gave 1-5mm of rain locally, A cloudy morning with sunny intervals to start the afternoon, with long sunny spells from mid-afternoon.  Temps 22-24c.

Yesterday: dry and pleasant with sunny spells, a rare day for recent weeks with near normal temperatures. Maximum 22.9, minimum 12.5. Wind light W.
