Ditto, although that is applying the de minimus rule, as we have had a few instances of 0.2 mm.  That aside, last rain was early hours of 30 May.

If it stays dry today and tomorrow, that will double my previous record!  Insane.

Yes there were two separate days in June that we had less than 0.5mm but rain that properly wets the ground and gives enough for plants was way back on the 30th May. May itself saw hardly any rain too so if the last few days wasn’t bombarded with torrential rain here then it would of last rained significantly in early/mid April.

I'd better join this quickly before I can't join any more!

51 days without noticeable rain - I think there may have been a couple of moments of drizzle early June but that's it

May 31st I believe was when we last saw rain! It came from an elevated early morning storm from the East!!

Make sure to leave water out for the wildlife. The local foxes and hedgehogs have been using the container I've put out like a watering hole.

We've generally been bone dry for the last 6/7 weeks, however we had a heavy shower last Friday evening for about 10/15mins.

Let’s see how many of us get wiped out of the no rain club tomorrow! Threat of hefty thunderstorms right across the SE, so my 52 day run could be about to go tomorrow!

Probably should do the same, I can't recall any rain falling so far this summer whatsoever and it was May I think when there were some thunderstorms mixed in with those cloudy north easterlies. There were a few Atlantic weather systems that passed through during the middle of the month but I don't think any rain was produced down here.

Cambridge NIAB recorded 0.2mm between 2-3pm on June 7th(!) so 44 days there.

Interesting! The NIAB site is 4.5 miles away from me over the other side of the edge of town, didn’t see a drop here in sunny Trumpington!

Wittering SYNOP report shows trace recorded on the evening of 6th July. Both Wittering and Monks Wood recorded measurable rainfall on morning of June 16th.

Staving off the inevitable here, that front is slowly on its way, and the rain will soon be falling!

June had 0.8mm but it's only been 16 dry days here with 14.2mm on the 1st July and 2.5mm on the 4th.

It's pretty dry but the grass isn't brown everywhere, and it doesn't look as brown as many areas on the Nasa Worldview satellite images.

I was wondering what it would look like if we hadn't had that rain, might be heading into Dorset this weekend so may find out (if tonight's rain hasn't already greened it up lol).

Heavy rain here now, and I look right in the firing line again. If I was near breaking a wet month record everything would dodge me instead.

0.4mm today brings our total for the month to 1.1mm.

We've had our first rain today since 17 June, so not a single drop for 32 days up to yesterday. Still less than 1mm today though, and the last time we had 1mm+ of rain in a day was 3 June.
