Porthmadog has hit 32c again, currently the hottest place in the country.

Who would have thought a sleepy little town on the NW coast of Wales would be the hottest place in the country again with temperatures soaring into the 30s?

Dry, sunny and becoming hot by afternoon again. Maximum 27.7, minimum 13.9. Wind light NE. Looking at the stats from Reading University's station, we're heading for more than 120 hours of sunshine in 10 days and no more than trace amounts of rainfall in over three weeks.

Amazing how different it has been here with the onshore breeze John, we haven't gone above 23.7C all month and have only reached 20C twelve times this June!

Yes at this time of the year Doncaster does usually get the sunshine developing.

My readings are too high compared with official figures, or indeed 2 other members of COL, by about 1.0 to 1.5 C.
