Yesterday.


Clear spells overnight. After a sunny start, low cloud rolled in from the east around 07:00 GMT. Cloudy for the most part through the morning. The cloud began to break up around noon leading to a mostly sunny afternoon, feeling pleasant and warm.

For some reason the forum wouldn't allow me to post yesterday, so here's a catch up:

Dry and warm with almost unbroken sunshine. Maximum 24.8, minimum 13.3. Wind light NE.

Yesterday: dry and warm with long sunny spells after a cloudy start. Maximum 23.7, minimum 14.3. Wind light NE.

Saturday: warm with sunny spells after a cloudy start, clouded over late afternoon with light showers. Maximum 21.2, minimum 11.8. Wind light NE.

A clear and sunny start to the day but Cu developed quickly from about 0930 g.m.t and it was mainly cloudy with a few spots of showery rain by midday. There was a heavy shower during mid afternoon, mainly between 1315 and 1340 g.m.t but this was followed by clearing cloud and a sunny late afternoon and early evening.

Well the area of storms all around Doncaster managed to miss us altogether, some hefty rainfall total not that far east of here. Mostly a lot of sunshine all afternoon into the evening, tomorrow it seems it is back to a northerly and cloud - oh joy!

26.2 C making it the warmest day for me since 27 May
