Spalding looks incredibly badly hit according to blitzortung is this true?

I'm in pinchbeck about 2 mile out of Spalding. Was died still when it approached but then the wind went from nothing to about 30 mph and torrential rain. It actually scared me.

Think those storms coming out of Paris will miss West Kent, think it'll clip Sittingbourne eastwards.

What a scary storm that was. I’ve never heard such constant thunder from a storm! Got very gusty with straight line winds.

Looks like round 2 is on the way aswell

It was very intense but it passed by quicker than I thought! The storms to london look to be heading towards us direct hit

All quiet again here, though it feels far less oppressive even with the moderate amount of rain we had. Hopefully this cloud cover will persist and the temp tonight will be cool enough to get a decent amount of sleep.

Watch out for that Frencie, once it hits our southern coast it may well explode, and it's all going to be happening with your name all

over it

Wasn't there a guy on this forum that basically disputed any supercell in the UK whenever it happens?

Watching anvils passing slowly to the east of me. Annoying.

It's like night here at the moment, very dark with lots of thunder and lightning to the west.

The radar is a mess of anaprop at the moment though, so no idea if we'll get a hit.

Well East Yorkshire has certainly been the hotspot for storms yesterday and today, the main area of activity now crossing the Humber and heading North.

Lightning 7 miles away apparently, sadly north of me. Possible distant rumble heard though...
