Hail from the storm in York. Wouldn't want that falling on your head!

It was worth all the effort ?

Explosive convection to my west in Norwich. I can see it growing, its immense! Not seen anything like it before except on Storm Chasers on the TV

That storm in northolk has defiantly anchored itself on the boundary layer it’s Hardily moveing Paul

Yep looks like a Sea Breeze Boundary with ENE Winds feeding into it.

Probably Supercellular, hopefully some people ping up some pictures of the Structure. Would imagine LCL's around 700-1000mtrs and solid base on it with strong Updraught!

Was going to say, that little monster looks to be eyeing up Skegness big time! Think it may well be a left splitter

My fingers are crossed.

Would imagine that Storm NW of Paris is an MCV and should note should impact parts of Kent, Essex and Suffolk that have missed out thus far this evening.

UKV had this modelled for around 8pm tonight heading NNW

Well I don’t know what to do. Various forecasts on here and my instincts suggest that storms will develop on and ahead of the two cold-fronts this evening but the MO are still having none of it.

Tipping it down at Llandudno.

Probably get the worst of both worlds, no storms and no view of the eclipse!

Huge towers going up all the way back south from Cambridge. Couple of big CGs and some loud thunder on arrival back home. Still rumbling intermittently. And yeh, at last some rain!! I suspect locations further north than me may get some decent displays. Sun is now starting to come back out.

I hear thunder I hear thunder

All to our east at the mo, close but no direct hit, breeze really picked up, think we are going to miss most of the action.

Rapid development of a cell just off the coast and has just come ashore.Shotgun thunder and good CG forks.

I can't tell if it's heading in our direction, looks like it'll be too far East

Storm incoming directly over me from the south.  Near constant cracks and rumbles now but not seen the lightning yet.  Will try and get a video if it's decent.

EDIT: Cell in the NE near Sunderland has exploded rapidly - near constant thunder now.
