Can see that cell over swaffham. Looks like it’s developing an overshooting top, incredible structure and a potentially dangerous storm.

I can't see the top of it sadly!

I need either a boat or something to break out just a little west of where cells currently are in Norfolk. My idea is that there is plenty of time for this to happen and all the forecast agencies seem to offer a good storm chance for east Lincolnshire.

Yep I’m in Louth right now and encouraged by the skies

nothing here yet except some high cirrus clouds but it does look like they're storms heading north just NW of Paris

There’ll be some big hail in there I’d imagine.

Is this the storm that will lead into more storms later for Lincolnshire or for us is it the stuff pushing up from the South?

It may just be me but I'm sure thats moving North, the strikes that are older are from the cell that died earlier.

For those of us east of London and in Kent should be encouraged by recent developments SE Of Brighton which should congeal into an MCS this evening according to some HI Res Model Data I have seen which I cant share unfortunately

Would you say those cells down South will affect Lincolnshire?

Yep cant see why not, as they move into a more favourable environment for Surface Based Storms then they should hold their course, it is not uncommon for Elevated Storms to become rooted into the Boundary layer and become surface based

Neither can I now - when I could (around 39 minutes or so back) it didnt, but I'm don't doubt it does now!

I don't believe this! I can see dark masses to the west as storms pass through Dorking, leaving me dry. Maybe I'll get lucky later. Meanwhile, garden, lemonade, listen to distant thunder.

Yeah I stayed put in the end. Glad I did, I’ll be out trying to find somewhere with no trees and some elevation, maybe Thorndon south or maybe down to Coryton.
