Seems to be kicking off, looks like the cell over reading has gone up to a more unstable area and come to life, suspected that might be the case.

Huge flash and bang with rain over Wellingborough. Loudest i've ever heard i think as in my new top floor flat for first time. Shook the building.

I can occasionally see lightning flashes reflected by the high clouds here in N.Watford from the storms North of here.

Idk whether to still stay up incase it heads our way or to sleep for this afternoons storms... hmm. Guess they could do anything for all we know

Not cloudy enough here, though just looked at the moon and clouds seem to be moving rather quickly

Very sporadic but that activity in the channel is edging closer to here.

Going to give it another hour and see how where these two cells end up, they seem to be moving North East but slow moving

Kicking off now West of Peterborough, could be in for a cracking display with both active cells

This is fr*gging nuts. So glad I’ve stayed up. Not often there’s an even more active storm that fires to the west! Can hear the booms getting closer
