If you are going to put faith in those computer-generated forecasts then you are going to be disappointed 99% of the time. You may as well have tea in a chocolate teapot.

No different to snow showers. They may provide a loose guide but on the day you now cast.

Some nice storms popping up now around Cambridge - just had a sharp burst, first 'rain' in over a month. No thunder / lightning yet though

Those storms/showers are shifting north at some speed, so whoever is lucky enough to recieve one won't have alot of rain will they?

Are these storms expected to merge / intensify as they move northward? The ones round Lincoln are clumping into one large storm.

They should get more widespread and developed the longer we go. Some as you'd expect will merge.

Constant distant thunder at the minute but no lightening or rain yet.  Think one of the storm is just skirting down the side of where I am but another seems to be on a direct path
