Sorry was in my truck at the time

I can only assume a large accumulation of dust, pollen and other crap over the last month of heat created it.
My neighbours shed has an orange tint from the pollen so i guess mixing with water might create some nice soup.

Some big convection going on just east of here and a cell has popped out of nowhere in the last fifteen minutes.

Dont know a lot about the weather, but have an extreme interest, one thing I can say is that the convection is really starting in my neck of the woods(south east Wales, blackwood area)was almost clear skies an hour ago,and felt really warm in the sun,now the sky is getting filled in quite rapidly with towering clouds,I'm in work from 2pm-10pm,be my luck that there'll be a storm and I won't be able to watch

Heavy shower here in Swindon now, not sure if there's any thunder because the rain is so loud!

Edit: Scratch that, just heard Thunder now as the cell is moving away.

Probably just a little too far SW to see much today, but we did just have a brief shower as it develops and trundles NE.

Line of storms from the Brecons up to South Snowdonia now heading northeast... anywhere in the west midlands could be in the game this afternoon. Slow moving though....

The grey crud has lingered all day here Bar the odd sunny spell, and I was just on the verge of calling this one a bust for me... And then I noticed the sky going very dark to my North West! :good:
