Sun has made a hazy appearance here in East Leeds. Took long enough...

Surprised no lightning has been picked up on the radar around Lincolnshire, would have thought with how heavy the precipitation is that there would be some

Edit: As soon as I post this one shows up between Newark and Sleaford...

Bits of blue sky appearing to the east. I may get some evening sun pity they'll be no storms though for us once more just a case of being in the wrong place once more.

The rain between Newark and Sleaford seem to have stalled for a while, not sure if it's going to grow in size or die down

Still surprised with little electrical activity on radars, I'm hoping it doesn't skim the edge of my village which is just to the East of Lincoln

Its actually gotten considerably big looking at the radar, this is looking good,

I hope it moves a bit west when it builds up catching us both

Yeah, it's extending East and West I think, this is where Im roughly at. I guess it's still in the building stages unless anyone has any other thoughts on this

I think this area of rain is the one with electrical activity. It looks like it is converging together! Heading North east

Armageddon Norfolk style - 2 distant rumbles of thunder. Pathetic. And a bit of rain.

Looking at the rainfall radar they're getting bigger with brighter colours but less lightening, this is just so confusing, maybe there's still hope

If course once said storm went past it fired up. Almost constant thunder incl a couple of ground shakers towards Attleborough/Wymondham. I'm currently nr  Snetterton.
