Muggy here with sunny spells and really dark anvils coming from the east coast direction

Very quiet on the radar, but looks like it's unstable to my North, could be wrong though

looked so promising here earlier , very humid , some impressive cauliflowers going up with dark bases,  all it resulted in is drizzle , on par for here,  cant say I am too shocked ,   game over ,   signing out

Wigan looks consumed by some torrential rain from what I see on the radar

Having lived in Buntingford near Royston for nearly 25 years, I can confirm that storms seem to always form in the valley there. The place floods very easily, being low lying, so hopefully this isn't another occurrence.

Great view of the cell between Milton Keynes and Cambridge at the moment. The anvil has been growing nicely with a lot of pileus over the past half an hour or so. The base was just about visible with a possible shelf cloud, although way too hazy for clear shots.

I've created a sort of warning page describing the places likely to see impacts from thunderstorms would you like to see it?

Can comfortably see the cells close to Manchester. Nice pileus cap :)

Not much lightning associated with them though, certainly none that I can see this far away but it looks an impressive size and a definite rainmaker for those underneath!
